The British Academy <\/span>postdoctoral fellowship is inviting proposals from researchers who are in the early stages of their careers in the social sciences and humanities and who wish to undertake an independent research project in the direction of the completion of an important piece of publication-worthy research.<\/span>
\nThe British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship offers exceptional early career researchers the opportunity to improve their research experience as well as teaching within an academic setting.<\/span>\u00a0This program is designed to build the applicant\u2019s curriculum vitae, and improve the likelihood of them securing an academic position that is permanent.<\/span>\u00a0The main focus is the achievement of a substantial work that can be published and the acceptance of the award winner to the established community of researchers in their area of expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fellowship is not renewable.<\/span><\/p>\n

British academy postdoctoral fellowship 2023-2024 Benefits:<\/h3>\n

This scheme falls by the Full Economic Costing (FEC) policy.<\/span>\u00a0The Academy is able to cover\u00a0the majority of salary expenses, which is indirectly and directly allocated costs that are covered under FEC.<\/span>\u00a0Research expenses are covered with 100 percent within the upper limit of PS6000 for the duration of three years.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span><\/strong>British academy postdoctoral fellowship Eligibility Criteria:<\/h3>\n

The applicant must be a scientist in the humanities or social sciences, and reside at a recognized research institution or university.<\/span>\u00a0The institutions that are eligible include the UK university or recognized research institute that is based within the UK.<\/span>\u00a0British citizens as well as anyone else of within the EEA are eligible regardless of the place where their doctorate was earned.<\/span>\u00a0Anyone with a doctorate from an UK university is qualified.<\/span>\u00a0If the applicant doesn\u2019t satisfy the preceding criteria and criteria, they can be accepted in the event of proving a \u201cstrong prior connection\u2019 to members of the UK academia.<\/span>\u00a0Candidates must be of early Career Status, which means that they have to apply within 3 years of the date of their successful viva-voce exam.<\/span>\u00a0For this round of the competition applicants must have passed their viva until 1 April 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

The applicant must be a postdoctoral researcher at the time that it is the time that the Research Awards Committee meets.<\/span><\/p>\n

The applications must be submitted online via the website of British Academy\u2019s Grant Management System (GMS),<\/span><\/p>\n

Duration and value<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
