For the first time since March 4th, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced an all program Express Entry draw encompassing candidates in the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). Today’s draw (155) was held at 13:08:41 UTC. 3,900 candidates that had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 478 received an invitation to apply (ITA). The total number of ITAs issued in 2020 is now up to 53,800. This signifies that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is committed to reaching its immigration targets for 2020. IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of February 11, 2020, at 03:17:13 UTC. Today, July 22nd, 2020, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced an Express Entry draw for candidates involved in the Provincial Nomination Program (PNP).  Today’s draw (156) was held at 12:15:22 UTC. 557 candidates that had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 687 received an invitation to apply (ITA).A decrease of 9 points compared to the previous Provincial Nominee Program draw held on June 24th, 2020. The CRS score may seem high but candidates with a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 CRS points which explain the spike in required points for the PNP. Today’s draw brings the total number of ITAs issued in 2020 to 54,357. This signifies that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is committed to reaching its immigration targets for 2020.  IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of November 11, 2019, at 08:51:21 UTC. This simply means that all candidates with a CRS score of 687 or above, and previous candidates with a score of 687 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time will receive an invitation in this round. Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced a second Express Entry draw within 24 hours for candidates involved in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).  Today’s draw (157) was held at 12:24:39 UTC. 3,343 candidates that had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 445 received an invitation to apply (ITA). Today’s CRS cut-off score was 14 points higher than the previous CEC-specific draw which took place on June 25, 2020. Today’s draw brings the total number of ITAs issued in 2020 to 57,700. This signifies that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is committed to reaching its immigration targets for 2020.  IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of  July 12, 2020 at 15:16:55 UTC. This means that all candidates with a CRS score of 445 or above, and previous candidates with a score of 445 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time will receive an invitation in this round. Yesterday’s Express Entry draw was for candidates with a provincial nomination which adds an additional 600 points to their CRS score. Today’s draw (158th) was held at 13:10:05 UTC. 3,900 candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 476 received an invitation to apply (ITA). Today’s CRS cut-off score decreased by 2 points compared to the previous all-program draw which took place on July 8th, 2020. 

The draw today brings the total number of ITAs issued in 2020 to 61,600. This signifies that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is committed to reaching its immigration targets for 2020. 

IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of July 27, 2020, at 01:02:47 UTC. This means that all candidates with a CRS score of 476 or above, and previous candidates with a score of 476 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time will receive an invitation in this round.

Candidates with a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 CRS points which explain the spike in required points for this draw as only candidates with Nomination Certificates were selected. Today’s draw brings the total number of ITAs issued in 2020 to 62,450. This signifies that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is continuing to select skilled workers for permanent residence. IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of July 24, 2020, at 11:39:23 UTC.
