Candidates who are neither Canadians nor permanent residents in Canada may hold fellowships at only Canadian institutions.
Candidates with Canadian and permanent resident status who hold a Ph.D. from an international institute are only eligible for postdoctoral positions if they continue their studies within that same Canadian institution.
