EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW 170 – 468 CRS POINTS

Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced an all program Express Entry draw, encompassing candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

Today’s draw (170) issued 5,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 468. A decrease of 1 point compared to the previous round held on December 9th, 2020. The large draw today brings the number of ITAs issued this year to 107,350, a record-high number of invitations. This signifies that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is committing to immigration by continuing to select skilled workers for permanent residence.

IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of June 4, 2020 at 13:39:44 UTC. This means that if more than one eligible candidate had the minimum CRS score, only those who submitted their Express Entry profiles before this date and time received invitations.
