Travel Checklist

- Itinerary for all of your trip plans

- Look through books, magazines, or travel guides to get ideas.
- It might get cold on your flight because you’ll be high up. Sweatshirt or jumper

- Hat / caps (especially if touring around)
- Sun cream with a high SPF (these are often very expensive if bought at your hotel)

- Electronic Devices (PSP, IPad, etc)
- Change of clothes in hand luggage

- Make sure you have the right medicine with you.
- Whenever you can, unplug any home items that are involved.
- You might want to get a guidebook for the place you are going.
- Make sure that all of the doors and windows are locked firmly.
- Make sure that your passport is still good for at least 6 months.
- Make sure you have cash and traveler’s checks for foreign exchange.
- If you or someone in your group needs one, make sure they have a legal visa.
- Give your house keys and contact information to a family member or close friend.
- Turn off the mains water before you leave for the winter if you don’t want your pipes to freeze.
- Make sure you have booked cabs to and from the airport, or that you know where to park your car at the airport.
- If you have a home alarm, make sure a neighbor you know has the alarm company’s information in case they need it.
- Make copies of your passport, driver’s license, visa, and insurance policies, as well as any other important travel papers. Give these copies to a family member or close friend and make sure they keep them safe.
- Many planes have rules about what kinds of things can be checked. Please check with your airline or transportation source about any specifics. You might not be able to bring power banks, e-cigarettes, lighters, party poppers, and other things in your checked luggage
