The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development OECD Internship Program invites applications from students (undergraduates and graduates) who possess the necessary understanding and expertise in relevant fields to serve in an advisory capacity.

The OECD Internship Program aims to attract top-quality and motivated students from various backgrounds to the Organization so they to take part in projects related to the Strategic Directions of the Secretary-General as well as assist with organizational tasks and functions.

OECD Internship Program 2023-2024 Benefits:

OECD interns typically stay for between one and six months (renewable until twelve), working full time at 40 hours per week. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the working environment in the OECD, they recommend staying for six months.
Furthermore, trainees receive an allowance for living expenses of 700 euros per entire month from the OECD.
Participate in the creation of documents and studies.
Conduct research and write a review of material already available;
Organizing, collecting and analyzing information;
Contributing to the production of working papers, documents and other publications that emerge from these activities such as notes or annexes.
Participate in seminars and meetings;
Establish and nurture relationships with officials from national administrations, researchers, international organizations, as well as members of delegations representing your country;

OECD Internship Program 2023-2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Students enrolled in a full-time program during the internship must be selected from any discipline or field related to the activities of OECD;
Are available for a 1-month internship;
Be proficient in either of the official languages spoken by OECD (English or French) and have either some working knowledge of, or desire to master one language; speaking other languages within OECD would be an advantage;
Possess strong IT and quantitative abilities;
Demonstrate superior writing and communication abilities
Can work effectively within a multicultural and international teamwork work environment.
Most internships will take place in Paris, France. Although most are assigned to OECD members from member countries, certain programs and projects that connect OECD-affiliated agencies/bodies (e.g. International Tax Forum, ITF, NEA) may also be open to non-member country citizens.

Fields Of OECD Internship Program 2023-2024:

The Internship Program is available year-round. Students enrolled in an accredited degree program (Bachelor or Master or Ph.D.) during their internship can apply online. Selected interns are hired remotely using a hybrid format until the next open call for interns.

Its primary aim is to give successful applicants the opportunity to hone their technical and analytical skills in an international setting. The program lasts between one to six months (renewable for another six months, up to twelve months) on an all-time basis (40 minutes per day).

Successful candidates for internships within corporate functions will be exposed to one or more of the following areas.
