Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced another Express Entry draw this week, but this time for candidates involved in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Today’s draw (146) was held at 11:33:47 UTC and is currently the lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement for a CEC specific draw in 2020. 3,311 candidates received an invitation to apply (ITA) that had a minimum CRS score of 452.
Today’s draw brings the total number of ITAs issued this week to 3,900 and 34,300 since the start of 2020. This signifies that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is committed to reaching its immigration targets for 2020.
IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of October 10, 2019, at 19:15:28 UTC. This simply means that all candidates with a CRS score of 452 or above, and previous candidates with a score of 452 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time will receive an invitation in this round.
